Werd!   -Arc [5:14 PM CDT]
It's true, I suck. Am I online everyday? Yes. Do I update? No. Why? Well, here's is my Weekday schedule:

6:45AM-3:30PM: School
3:30PM-6:00PM: Only free time of the day. I do whatever I can as fast as possible, mostly talking to friends, especially girlfriend.
6:00PM-8:00PM (usually longer actually): Homework
8:00PM-10:30PM: Job Sunday-Thursday (not this site)
10:30PM-6:45AM: Sleep

Have you ever been a HS Junior? If you have, you know it sucks more than any other year in regards to work and importance to the future. So, pretend you are me for a moment. You have to go outside at night for 4 hours studying stars and writing about them. Are you going to say, "Forget this, I need to update my site of which I receive no payment and relates to a 4 year old game, with about 60 visitors a day max!" Of course not. This site's purpose has been the same since it started over 2 years ago. To be a reliable and semi-active ARCHIVE for one of the greatest games in all history. I will finish all the sections. There will be news updates. But is it going to be as big and popular and fresh as sites such as Planetcnc.com? Nope sorry. Oh btw I have a cable modem now.

PS I work on this site alone.

Top Games   -Arc [10:57 AM CDT]
With the release of Tiberian Sun, the Top Games section will become active again. As soon as Tiberian Sun is voted into the Top 100 games I will update the Top Games section of The Obelisk. Currently the game is too new to be considered.

New C&C 64 Review   -Arc [10:48 AM CDT]
Over a month after its release, a new review has emerged for N64's Command & Conquer.
-Excerpt: It’s really amazing how simple the actual gameplay is. Gather Tiberium, build troops, and eventually attack the enemy base. This kind of gameplay seems to be the bread and butter of real-time strategy. For the most part, the control of the PC almost make a perfect conversion for it's frist debut on the N64. C&C 64 uses almost every single button [on] the controller. You use the D-pad to perform actions like scatter, while you use the control stick to move the cursor and use the A button to select.
