I just did a little update, 2 affiliates joined, Adv_Guard and Trueblues Studios. I'm always available for email, but never majorly update the site, not enough free time. Gamespy was KIND enough to remove my "paid affiliate ads" (aka free counters) a while ago (because they weren't Gamespy produced of course!), so I don't know how many people come here now. Thanks again Silverdawn for going through each page and removing them!

Hey It's Me   -Arc [4:39 PM CDT]
Well, after another vacation and more than enough off time, it's become clear the news thing isn't really working out. One guy running a news site about a 5 year old game every day is impossible. So the daily news will be out with only important news going up. But I -promise- 2 things here today:

1. The Obelisk, as a C&C resource site, will NOT be going offline anytime in the foreseeable future. Tiberian Dawn needs one or two central sites where C&C files can be downloaded from. With The Temple and The Data Downlink long gone, I see The Obelisk and Antti.Web filling the role.
2. The Obelisk WILL be finished, someday. It could take a year or even longer, but eventually it will all be here.

Another Gamespot Poll   -Arc [2:30 PM CDT]
CNCNZ has discovered yet another poll over at Gamespot with C&C. The question is "What is the best game series or franchise?". Warcraft is winning with a pathetic 23%, but C&C has only 9%. Go on and vote for C&C here.

Weekend's C&C Lan Parties   -Arc [2:23 PM CDT]
This weekend, 3 open Lan Parties will be playing Tiberian Dawn, among other games. One is in Edmonton, Canada, one in Berne, Switzerland, and one in Orlando, FL. If you are interested in attending these or another C&C Lan Party in the future then look here.

Many random updates all over the site today... The Top Games are updated, with Diablo II leading again and Tiberian Sun falling to 54... On all pages a few links were fixed, most importantly the banner code... The July 2000 news has been archived here... A few days ago the CNCNZ Top 100 was reset. Since I had the old link on all pages until now, please help The Obelisk catch up. -Arc
