Renegade - Nod Units

General Info
All infantry units listed below carry a Silenced Auto Pistol as a secondary weapon which does very light damage. In addition to that, all infantry carry Timed C4 charges with a 30 sec. delay. The engineers and special engineers carry more and different types of C4 charges than other infantry types.

Basic Infantry

Nod Soldier: Cost = [free]
Primary Weapon: Auto Rifle [Machine Gun]
This is your basic infantry. Gun fires 100 rounds at a time before reloading. Useful against other infantry, and with several grouped together can take out vehicles.

Nod Shotgun Trooper: Cost = [free]
Primary Weapon: Pump Shotgun
Good weapon for close range fighting in tunnels and buildings. Get up close and take em out with one shot.

Nod Flamethrower: Cost = [free]
Primary Weapon: Fame Thrower Gun
This soldier is effective against both infantry and vehicles. You can torch anything in sight. It does not have a long range, so it is a bit vulnerable since you must get in close to do any damage.

Nod Engineer: Cost = [free]
Primary Weapon: Repair Gun
Secondary: Remote and Timed C4 Explosives
Heal teammates and repair vehicles and base structures. Use your explosives to damage buildings at the MCT (Master Control Terminal). They can also disarm C4 charges when placed by other units. They also carry an auto pistol for additional protection.

Advanced Infantry

Nod Officer: Cost = [175]
Primary Weapon: Chain Gun
This soldier is effective against both infantry and vehicles. It is more powerful and fires faster than the standard Nod soldier.

Nod Rocket Soldier: Cost = [225]
Primary Weapon: Rocket Launcher
This soldier is effective against both infantry and vehicles. Has long range. Weapon fires 6 rockets at a time, then has to reload from a pack of around 30 rockets.

Nod Chemical Warrior: Cost = [150]
Primary Weapon: Chem Sprayer
Shoots out a very toxic cloud of Tiberium Gas that will eliminate any unprotected infantry. The effects don't last long however. It's not effective against vehicles.

Nod Back Hand: Cost = [500]
Primary Weapon: Sniper Rifle
Uses Stealth Technology. Carries a high powered long range rifle with a four round clip. Effective against all infantry and lightly armored vehicles. Comes with a scope with zoom in-out and night vision.

Nod Back Hand: Cost = [450]
Primary Weapon: Laser Chain Gun
Uses Stealth Technology. Weapon is armor-piercing. Very deadly when used against any vehicles of opportunity including GDI medium and mammoth tanks. Can also be used against infantry.

Nod Black Hand: Cost = [400]
Primary Weapon: Laser Rifle
Uses Stealth Technology. Effective against infantry and vehicles. One good shot will take out some infantry.

Nod Sakura: Cost = [1000]
Primary Weapon: Ramjet Rifle
Very long range. Fires steel projectiles. Comes with a scope with zoom in-out and night vision. Deadly at taking out infantry. Very effective against all vehicles. One of the best all-around weapons of choice!

Nod Raveshaw: Cost = [1000]
Primary Weapon: Rail Gun
Very powerful gun fires one shot at a time, then has to reload. Can kill infantry in one shot (if it's a head shot)  and do much damage to any vehicle. It's slow rate of fire does make it vulnerable if in the open.

Nod Mendoza: Cost = [1000]
Primary Weapon: Volt Auto Rifle
Very powerful gun fires out an electrical beam of energy. Effective against all infantry and vehicles including armored tanks. Long range of fire.

Nod Technician: Cost = [350]
Primary Weapon: Repair Gun
Secondary: Remote, Timed, and Proximity C4
They repair at twice the rate of the base level Engineer and have twice the range on their repair module. They also get an additional charge of Remote C4 and can carry Proximity Mines that can be used for both attack and defense.

Vehicles

Buggy: Cost = [300]
Primary Weapon: Mounted M-60 [Machine Gun]
Designed for recon and hit and run tactics, the Buggy sacrifices armour for speed. But it is not completely without merit. The speed means you can run over infantry before they know what's happening and doge slow moving projectiles. It's mounted Machine Gun means that it can take out infantry, but nothing else.

Nod APC: Cost = [700]
Primary Weapon: Mounted M-60 [Machine Gun]
This vehicle is similar to the Buggy except with a little less speed and more armour. It is designed for getting a number of troops to and from areas quickly and safely. It's armed with the same gun as the Buggy which must reload.

Nod Light Tank: Cost = [600]
Primary Weapon: 75mm APDS
The Fastest Tank class in existence, it sacrifices armour and firepower for speed. It really has the same advantages as the Buggy, but can be used for hit and run tactics against heavier vehicles and structures. The great advantage over something like the GDI Mammoth Tank is that you can shoot, retreat, shoot retreat gradually wearing away at it.

Nod Artillery: Cost = [450]
Primary Weapon: 155mm Ballistic Charges
Slow moving, lightish armour, huge range. The Artillery fires shells at long range, they are deadly against everything, but designed for use against buildings out of range of the defences. Their slow speed and light armour to help the anoying GDI kill you, so you'll need to be backed up by some Engineers.

Nod Flame Tank: Cost = [800]
Primary Weapon: Twin Flame Cannons
The tank itself is quite lightly armoured, but the walop it punches sure isn't! Take some catipilar tracks, stick two huge flamethrowers on a turret, stick the turret on the Catipilar tracks, and what do you get? The Flame Tank! That's basically what it is! The jets of flame the are so hot, they easilly burn infantry, and can melt metal upto 8 inches thick! So it's pretty damn effective against everything! Unfortunately, the armour (as i've said before) is light and the range of the streams of super heated flame is limited. But, the flames make it difficult to see, the the enemy may not be able to target you so effectively. As an added bonus, infantry will continue to burn even after they've got out of the flames.

Nod Stealth Tank: Cost = [900]
Primary Weapon: Dragon TOW Rockets
The Stealth Tank is not disimilar to the light tank, in that it's fast and lightly armoured, but, there are some crucial diferences. The most noticable one being that if fires rockets instead of shells. The second (and least noticable - at least to your enemies) is that it can cloak. It will remain invisible until it either get close to an enemy vehicle or infantry, or attacks. But by then it's probably too late for them to do anything anyway.

Nod Apache Attack Helicopter: Cost = [600]
Primary Weapon: High-Speed Gattling Cannon
Secondary: Dragon TOW Rockets
Excellent against infantry and lightly armoured vehicles, the Apache is the newest generation of combat helicopters, it is very fast moving. Like all flying units, it must return to a helipad in order to reload its weapons. It can easilly be shot down however, but you can avoid the slower projectiles if you are quick!

Nod Artillery: Cost = [450]
Primary Weapon: None
The Transport Chopper is used to transport infantry around the battlefield very quickly. The chopper itself is not armed at all so it is completly helpless when it encounters enemy fire, although it can take a bit more punishment than an Apache.
