Electronic Arts Los Angeles is the current home of Command and Conquer, it was formed in 2003 from the takeover of the Dreamworks Studios, the liquidation of EA Pacific (formerly Westwood Pacific) and relocated staff from Westwood Studios, Las Vegas. The studio is located in an area of LA called Playa Vista in two glass-fronted buildings.
The first C&C game developed here was Generals and all subsequent games with the exception of The First Decade compilation which was outsourced to Barking Lizards Technologies and Kane's Wrath which was co-developed with BreakAway Games.
